Tanya McGowan, OTR, is an Occupational Therapist who has practiced in her hometown of Ruston, LA since 1989. Tanya received a BA in Occupational Therapy from University of Louisiana at Monroe and takes a special interest understanding the needs of her patients.
Tanya is committed to the growth of Legacy and the community. She is thankful for the opportunity to help others improve the quality of life through rehabilitation as well as serving Lincoln Parish special needs children within the school system.
As a result of growing up around horses, Tanya has found a passion for combining riding and those with disabilities. In her spare time, she volunteers time to work with special needs children through hippotherapy. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family, especially her two sons, Sean and Brian.
